There are three parts in the aquaculture system, mechanical filtration, biological filtration and oxygen supply system.
In mechanical filtration, you can choose drum filter and sand filter.
1.Drum filter-Recomended!
-Made of PP and 316L stainless steel filter mesh
-Has fumction of automatic backwashing. Include on motor and one water pupm
-No power consumption in normal work, only consume power when it is runing the backwashing system
-Recomend reasons: durable and easy operate
2.Sand Filter
-Made of Fiberglass and filled with sand media
-Have to work with water pump, when it is running, it consume power
-Have to manually clean it and replace the sand media after a longtime use
Biological Filtration in aquaculture system can be in differen structures, it can efficient rapid degradation of ammonia and nitrite and other harmful substances
1. Immersion Model biological filter
-Filled with mutiple biomedia and can install an UV sterilizer chamber, no need extra UV sterilizer
- economial and practical
-Have to manually clean it and replace the sand media after a longtime use
2.Moving bed biological filter-Recomended!
-Filled with high efficent PP biofilter media
- Not only have double functions with biological filtration and mechanical filtration, but also have back washing system, large particles discharging, emptying device etc. Easy operate and maintain.
